The Entente Cordiale University Challenge launch 2024 was a resounding success, bringing together high-profile guests from academia, diplomacy, and industry alongside top students from leading universities. The evening was filled with insightful discussions, reinforcing the power of Franco-British collaboration in addressing global challenges. It was an honour to host distinguished speakers including the Secretary of State for Biodiversity and the Sea, Monsieur Herve Berville, the Deputy UK Ambassador Théo Rycroft, the representatives of the French Entente Cordiale families, including from General de Gaulle and President Chirac and many others.
Building on this momentum, we are excited to announce the 2025 Challenge theme: “Climate Change, Biodiversity & Developing Countries”.
As climate change accelerates, tackling issues of biodiversity loss, extreme weather and environmental displacement becomes urgent. This year, we invite students to explore sustainable solutions and produce insightful reports, as the brightest minds are needed to tackle this.
Stay tuned for competition updates as we embark on a transformative year!
